(Sacramento) – Bands played, choirs sang, confetti rained down and a huge crowd cheered as the three men from Sacramento who stopped an attack on a train in France last month were honored with a parade that concluded with a massive rally on the steps of the State Capitol. Assemblymember Ian Calderon (D-Whittier) joined State Assembly Speaker Toni G. Atkins (D-San Diego) and a host of other lawmakers as they praised the three childhood friends - U.S. Airman Spencer Stone, Oregon National Guardsman Alek Skarlatos and Anthony Sadler – for their bravery and courage. "To save their lives and everybody else on that train is truly heroic. They represent the best of all that America and the State of California and the City of Sacramento has to offer," said Assemblymember Calderon.
